likely pivot, rather than carve your skis.
Keeping your knees together doesn't mean only
that--you have to also tuck your downhill knee under the uphill knee. As you
change direction, your knees will shift their positions. This creates a lead
change with the skis.
"Throw" your knees from side to side,
while simultaneously tucking the downhill knee under the other.
- Keeping a steady upper body--facing down the
hill--is crucial.
